Valentine's Day Gift Guide

Whoever you're treating this Valentine's Day (and I hope this includes YOU!), I've narrowed down some of my favourite gifts for a range of budgets.

You just can't go wrong with jewellery!

I have a few of Genna Delaney's pieces and I will definitely be hinting for more! This onyx drop diamond cube pendant (£100) is from her uniquely stunning 3D printed collection. The collection is really lightweight yet chunky. I'm also loving Genna's tiny stud earrings in a range of shapes. They're great for multiple piercings.

Or candles!

Last year, I collaborated with Sophie of The Candle Bothy to create a limited edition collection of marbled jesmonite pots filled with Sophie's incredible candles. They come in 3 colours, 6 scents, burn for 30 hours and you can reuse the pot afterwards. I've got a cute collection of air plants in mine but they're perfect for pens, makeup brushes etc too.

Super sized scrunchies!

These XL zero waste scrunchies (£15) from Isolated Heroes are amazing! I've got the rainbow one (to match my rainbow sequin dress, of course), but I'm eyeing up the neon pink one now too... These are made from off-cuts from previous collections; what a great way to use up the prettiest "waste" I've ever seen! You can get matching masks too. Yes, I've also got one of those!

Something else sparkly

The Sparkling Strawberry Wine (£10.95) from Perthshire-based Cairn O'Mohr is made from local strawberries and is vegan-friendly. You could also add a gift voucher for a tour of the winery if you're local, and there are some really tasty non-alcoholic options (the Braes o'Gowrie Sparkling Elderberry drink is yum!).

Jesmonite coasters

My jesmonite heart-shaped coasters will go perfectly with your Cairn O'Mohr fizz. They have shiny silver leaf detailing, but I'm open for custom orders if you have a colour scheme to work to. Steal my lovely photographer Jilly's idea and throw in some Love Heart sweeties too!

Cushyknit Kit

This vegan bio-nylon wool crochet heart tutorial kit from Cushyknit would make such an unusual Valentine's gift. It's £18 and comes in 22 colours. My favourite is boudoir. You can also get it pre-made in 3 sizes, from £18. The planet-friendly wool is biodegradable and its manufacture uses recycled processed water.

Hearts and more hearts

If you're going all out with the heart theme, then I've got a range of cute polymer clay earrings that can be posted direct to that special person for you. They go from teeny studs, to fun dangles with stripes and neon.

If you really can't decide...

If you can't decide what to go for, then a bespoke gift hamper will always be appreciated. Planted offers curated boxes that can be tailored to your needs and posted UK-wide. All their gifts are vegan and sustainable. I've given these a few times now, and they couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. For a Valentine's Day gift, I would definitely recommend the heart bath bombs and Raspberry Craft Chocolate.
